A Curated Experience by Dr. Roebuck:
At Serenity Pediatrics, we believe that healthcare should be as nurturing and personalized as the families we care for. Located in Newport, Rhode Island, we are a modern, membership-based pediatric practice dedicated to bringing the focus back to where it truly belongs: the relationship between the doctor, the parents, and the child.
We know that raising a family is filled with joyous milestones and unexpected hurdles. That is why we have intentionally designed our clinic to be a calm, welcoming environment where you never feel rushed, unheard, or treated like just another number in the waiting room.

Dr. Roebuck
Dr. Roebuck is a board certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
She has over 10 years of experience caring for children in a primary care model. Prior to primary care practice, she worked as a Neonatal Hospitalist and director of the Mother Baby Unit of Oklahoma Children's Hospital at OU Health. In addition to caring for children in the clinic, Dr. Roebuck also provides neonatal care at a local hospital system. She has three children of her own and lives with her family in Middletown.

With a strong background in pediatric care, Lindsey is committed to providing attentive, reliable support to both providers and patients while fostering a positive experience for every child she works with.

This is a Partnership. Are we a good fit?
Dr. Roebuck strives to have a partnership with each and every family that seeks care from Serenity Pediatrics.
Serenity Pediatrics will never bill your insurance for services offered within the office. Being a DPC office, Serenity Pediatrics has opted OUT of all insurances. Copays are never billed, deductibles are not our thing. Can you still use your insurance benefits? Absolutely! Your insurance can be used for other medical needs such as prescriptions, referrals, imaging/labs, urgent care or hospital visits, etc. We still highly recommend that you maintain insurance for your child in the event of emergency. Care offered at Serenity Pediatrics is not an insurance plan.
You can expect that your child will have dedicated appointments with Dr. Roebuck that are not time-based, but are need based. A membership model of payment ensures a smaller patient panel, more dedicated time with each patient, and the convenience of truly seeing your Pediatrician when your child needs. There will be times that the office will be closed for holidays, vacations, weekends, etc, however every effort will be made to address your concerns at your earliest convenience.
In this partnership, Serenity Pediatrics also has expectations for its patients. Newborns are required to have received an intramuscular dose of Vitamin K - this is so very important to prevent hemorrhagic disease of the newborn. Oral Vitamin K is not an alternative to intramuscular Vitamin K and is not supported by this office. Families are also expected to be accepting of routine childhood vaccines. Serenity Pediatrics will work with families who may request an alternate vaccine schedule, however in order to keep newborns and immunocompromised children healthy in our office, vaccinations are required.
Monthly Membership Plans
Simple. Transparent. Personal.
Healthcare should be about your child, not your insurance company. By using the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, copays and deductibles are never a barrier to the care provided in the clinic. A membership model exhibits clear, consistent pricing for your child's exceptional care.
